These large textural forms by Benjamin Kikkert are an exciting addition to our gallery floor. Following a similar aesthetic to his creekbed series, they feature glass “rocks” and are heavily textured in clear glass frit, maximizing each pieces optical effect truly representing the movement of water and fluidity of our chosen material. Each rock is handcrafted and carefully fused to the exterior form. Unlike many objects, there is no right way to display these pieces, offering the viewer a custom and fresh perspective.
